Whoa! We loved our night here. very attentive and relaxed staff, picturesque setting and excellent entertainment. meals were very good (canard store, lamb, beef, burned cream, apple pie) - I would call French cuisine more copier than gastronomic. The singer came to discuss with our table. 10/10 for the atmosphere.
Atmospheric atmosphere with a huge hospitality. food was delicious and the jazz band added to the atmosphere. We thought it was a great experience!
Very nice club, we went there two nights, both with American singers. Good food too.
I went through this place by going to our bus hoponhofoff. This attracted our attention because we love jazz and especially intimate clubs, so we ranked it in our memory banks for later. That night, we sat with our concierge looking for evening entertainment and we remembered Dad's place. Naturally, they were all full on a Saturday night, but as he was so close, we decided to try our chance and pass. a lady welcomed us to the door (maybe the owner?) and naturally she told us that all the seats were reserved. I don't know why, but she sat at a table near the front door and away from the music. She told us she'd move us if someone canceled. I didn't believe her, but I was glad she sat down. Later in the evening, she actually moved us forward! this club reminded us of blues alley, a jazz club in washington dc. at Dad's is intimate with seats less than 1 foot from the artists. the club is small (maybe 50 seats) but actually has a half-balcon overlooking the representation space. The night we were there, they had a combo of 3 plays that played jazz in the old. My husband is very adventurous and he ordered snails (snails). I'm not that adventurous, but I tasted them and they were not bad! Dad's home is magic! If you like jazz, it's a place you need to visit.
