Le Berger - Paris 11e Arrondissement

Le berger (metro: nation) is a very tiny bistro, but full of old charms in house style. most friendly, to dark. the neighbourhood is not touristic at all, where real people work and eat their lunch. we have been here twice: the second time. was to make sure it is so good and we were not disappointed! we love this place because the prices are so reasonable, a real bargain in expensive paris. my favorite is the rillette d’oie (goose pate) and the appetizer plate of the marinated hering. these are traditional French dishes. both came with wonderful, thick cut rustic brown brot. but of course they have more choices than that. Remember to come to lunch, but not dinner: they do not really serve a real dinner per say, only drinks with charcuterie.

Now it's at least the tenth time I'm going to have lunch in this little bistro in the place of the nation. and never disappointed. a different slate always very pleasant to discover. and above all because of the fact of the house: from the entrance to the dessert. Besides a nice boss and always in good mood. Going the eyes closed without hesitation!

We discovered this little bistro by walking to take the metro to the nation station. the place is nice and the food is good. I recommend.

We fell by chance on this little bistro: a very good surprise a formula at reasonable prices (16 euros flat or flat dessert plus coffee in the 2 cases), good products ( try the boudin c para: delicious); about the foie gras, when it's the time. A murder!

Super bistro where home kitchen has to z is really remarkable. Many flavors, dishes are quality and generous portions, the welcome is very warm and it is with pleasure that I will come back as soon as possible!
