If you are ever in Parkersburg, WV and want to get a beer and a big burger; skid the box store and stupid masses. Spend your money on real American art. Almost forget to ask for Alice.
We went on a Saturday night at 8:00 and had a wonderful meal. It was more of a restaurant feel than a brewery feeling so that our teenagers were comfortable there. It would be convenient to hang out with just beer too. The food was very good. Her grilled chicken eaters were juicy and had great taste. Beers were great. The Tsunami IPA was so good I had to buy a 6 pack of it to come home. Wings were also fleshy with good taste (we had their gold sauce, which at the end packed a pretty puffy kick. Very nice).
1. Here. Service was good and the waitress had a good knowledge of the menu and beer selection. They followed their proposals and they were on the point. The burgers were really good. The house made sauces and relish were a great addition to the burgers. We will definitely add this to our list of restaurants in the area.
If you're thirsty for delicious beers and hunger for guilty pleasure, Parkersburg Brewing Company is the place to visit. We enjoyed a short walk and lunch while staying at the Historic Hotel Downtown. The beer selection and aromas including the Seltzer 's are fantastic. We were a hungry family on arrival, the food portions were large and the elections were phenomenal. I recommend the burgers, the taste and the toppings are great. Scotched Eggs, yes, please! For my drink selection I really enjoyed the Cell Block 304 Honey Brown Ale. My wife loved Hip Hef . Also we tried the blood Orange Hard Seltzer, who was very refreshing. The staff was super friendly and the entire waiting staff was fast and took care of our table. Congratulations to Parkersburg Brewing Company, one of the best places in the city. We can't wait to go back.
House made black bean burger. In West Virginia. I thought surely the waitress (the very helpful, friendly, and sassy Cassidie) would be like oh we don 't have those currently. but she didn 't even flinch. Totally treated me like a regular person who ordered meat, and was even able to tell me about the patty and suggest toppings. The pretzel bun, turns out was not only worth it, but is not to be missed. We got our pretzel sticks appetizer and it was clear these folks know what they 're doing. Fresh pretzels are neither easy nor quick. Kudos for baking in-house! Oh scratch that. When I sat down and saw their brewed beer list it was clear these folks know what they 're doing. A sour weiss? Yes please. Did not disappoint. Almost everything we had was made fresh from the fried pickles to the cheese sauce. Fresh is a rarity among eateries anywhere in the country, and for it Parkersburg Brewing Co deserves it 's 5 star rating. Delightful experience.
