Trappers Choice - Parry Sound

We recently stayed at the motel next to the restaurant during our golf trip on Thursday and Friday nights. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly, attentive, and took excellent care of us. We enjoyed dinner there on Thursday (steak and shrimp) and breakfast on Friday and Saturday mornings. We were lucky to have the same server each time we visited, and she was fantastic! The food was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this restaurant; you won’t be disappointed!

This is an excellent restaurant for a family meal. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Even during the COVID period, Trappers Choice Restaurant offered takeout and maintained the same high standards for their pickups. I have consistently been impressed with both the food and the service here. Hats off to the chef, the kitchen staff, the cleaning crew (the restaurant is very clean), and, of course, the servers. Thank you!

The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. They had safety protocols in place, which made us feel comfortable during our meal. We had a great time dining there. There's plenty of parking, and it's conveniently located near downtown attractions. We'll definitely visit again on our next camping trip. Keep up the great work, Trappers!

I visited this restaurant on my first day in town. The waitress was friendly and seated my group on an empty second level. I ordered the beer-battered haddock for dinner, which came with vegetables and potatoes. I asked to swap the potatoes for sweet potato fries, and the meal was delicious with good service. However, two of my friends encountered problems with their orders. One friend was asked if he wanted gravy with his fries, but the waitress didn’t mention that there would be an additional charge. He ended up ordering the fries with gravy. Another friend was asked if he wanted bacon with his beef liver meal, and he was also charged extra without being informed. While I was satisfied with my own order, I was disappointed with the way my friends were treated. The waitress had mentioned that some items come with extra charges, but she didn’t clarify this for my friends’ orders. Because of this, I won’t be returning.
