I used to enjoy the fresh, homemade taste of the Italian food at this restaurant, but now it seems like they are serving frozen, store-bought meals that are simply heated up before serving. The dishes lack flavor and seasoning, and the meatballs are disappointing with mostly filler. Recently, I've noticed that Italian restaurants in the area all seem to serve the same mediocre food in identical containers. I've resorted to getting my spaghetti from local sub shops instead. I cannot recommend anything from this restaurant, but I had to try it in order to post my review. The service was only for takeout.

The cream of crab soup was delicious, with plenty of crab and a flavorful bisque-like broth. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The baked ziti with meat sauce turned out to be overcooked penne with a mediocre sauce. The lasagna was filled with clumps of meat and sauce, and the pasta did not seem to be traditional lasagna noodles. The wine, chosen by the owner according to our server, was bland at best. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Bella Napoli in Pasadena has the best pizza and the most welcoming staff! They always deliver consistent quality and I always choose them when I'm craving delicious pizza.

I remember Bella Napoli opening my Sicilian grandmother immediately loved it and made fast friends with Biagio and Pasquale. After she had a heart attack and had to change her diet, they started making her cheese free, garlic loaded pizza. My newly retired grandfather painted the mural in their party room. Over the years we've had dozens of dinners at Bella Napoli and we've got dozens of stories about various servers and staff making our day and about the amazing food we've had. Kid friendliness: They are always sweet and accommodating to our kids!
