Ichima - Pasadena

This is one of my favorite sushi spots for both restaurants and take out.

I live in pasadena, so that it was really convient, nice that we came to lunch here, because kabuki had to wait a long time. the choices for lunch are fantastic and a good offer. many combinations for the benton boxes. I had teriyakihuh with california roll, while my bf ordered her teriyakihuh with spicy thunfish sushi and tempoura. both orders were prepared in a bentobox with salat and miso suppe with the main selections of lunch. the chicken was very tender and tasty. the teriyaki sauce was with sweet and saltiness directly on the notiz. I love her california roll. I felt that this is better than that of next door. Although we had no chance to try out their sashimi, they looked amazing from eating next table. we will definitely come back to try them out. the sashimi prices on the menu seemed appropriate. at the moment there are only restaurants that are offered to eat outdoors. delicious

Waiter was friendly and patient. Food was excellent I had the dragon roll highly suggest and a salmon box.. I didn't eat any of the raw salmon but I had to get a pic, the rest of the table thoroughly enjoyed.

Basic solid 3 1 2 4 star fair price sushi restaurant. No complaints. Your not spending 100 plus a person type sushi restaurant Have eaten here and the other sushi restaurant a few hundred yards away many times, but not a lot during Covid. Enjoyed are meal last night. Noticed plates were nicer and ALWAYS good service. Nice people work there. Fish very very fresh the dinner we order portions were very generous and tasty. I would definitely recommend!!!!!

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed the decently good food. Chirashi bowls, bentos, appetizers, sushi, sashimi, rolls, you name it. For the prices here, the quality of the food is actually pretty damn good; just don't expect premium grade sushi! I would say that it's worth it! The place can get pretty busy during peak meal times and since they don't take reservations, it'll be a first come, first serve basis. The restaurant is quite spacious with many tables to accommodate diners and the servers are all friendly.
