Panera Bread - Pasadena

Used to be better. Last couple of times food has taken a long time. And staff seems to not care as much. Kids love the Mac and cheese. Overall food is decent but overpriced. More than $12-13 for a bowl of Mac and cheese and a drink? $50 plus for family of 4, with only 2 drinks and one person ordered the value duet which is like $6. Even so, we visit pretty regularly to avoid burgers, fastfood etc. and at least resemble some sort of healthier food.

I went into the store to pick up a wheat sandwich for my wife, who had called in the order. She was not told at the time that they were out of wheat bread. The sandwich was made wrong, and even included mayo when she specifically asked for mustard. This store has gone down the tubes. This is the second time this has happened to us, so we will no longer be giving them our business. They then offered me whole grain bread then turned around and said they were out of it too!!! When I talked to the manager he didn't seen too concerned. I don't write reviews, but felt people need to know about this.

I came and ordered a wheat sandwich today with turkey. They were out of wheat bread then they offered me whole-grain bread and discovered they were out of whole-grain bread they made my sandwich wrong when I specifically asked for mustard and there was so much mayo in it I took it back and got a refund. The last couple of times we have been to this place even though the employees are very nice, they never have the right type of bread we asked for.

Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich to go. I understand it’s supposed to be toasted but this is burnt. Would’ve gone back but I was in a rush hence the to go order..

I am not a Karen and I never write a bad review....until now. We just went in to grab dinner after a movie. We stood at the counter while the staff talk about their age and other things. Never any sort of greeting. A young lady said we could use the kiosk because see was to busy to wait in us. Another young lady told her not to say things like that and she responded she didn't care. She told the young lady waiting on us to make the orders to go and not dine in. This was about 8:30 pm. It just seemed like there was no adult supervision and a general lack of interest on the customer. On a good note the order was correct and the food was good.
