Must try their Matcha Lava Cake. Oozing with matcha and topped with Vanilla soft serve. If you want to taste matcha in its pure form, try the O-Matcha. Not for non-matcha drinkers, though. If you want it sweeter, try the Tsujiri + Kinako Kuromitsu. The place tends to get packed as it only seats less than 30 guests so prepare to wait, especially on weekends.
This is heaven for matcha lovers like me. I ordered their matcha sundae and tsujiri float in mediun. Price is little expensive but definitely worth it. Their ice cream and float is very matcha -subtle sweet, little bitter. Definitely worth the bucks.
This is my favorite place to get matcha! Unlike other cafés and bakeries that serve matcha treats, their matcha is not too sweet or too grassy. It also lacks the manufactured taste that a lot of other places have. I love their soft serve ice cream and their lava cake. The long line can be intimidating but their matcha is definitely worth the effort!
If you like Matcha then you're going to love this place! You can really taste the bitterness of the green tea in the soft serve. I didn't give it a 5 because although it tastes great, I expected something more from their selection. Nonetheless, I am willing to try their floats next time.
Tsujiri!!!!! I was so stoked the first time I went here! From checking their menu to ordering, I was really smiling and excited. We ordered Houjicha Milk Ice Blended, Tsujiri Sundae, Matcha Choux Cream, Matcha Lava, and the Matcha Chiffon Cake. Tsujiri really offers authentic matcha desserts! Houjicha Milk Ice Blended --I googled what Houjicha is and I found out that it is a variety of green tea. It's difference from matcha is it's roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal. On the other hand, matcha is specially processed and grown. Going back, I was very satisfied with the Houjicha drink I ordered. It has this roasted taste which makes it different from matcha. Tsujiri Sundae --The Sundae has lychees on top, rice crispies beneath and a thin wafer(which was a substitute to the pink flower as seen on their menu) on it. The rice crispies complements the sundae so well. Matcha Choux Cream --The choux bread tastes good and is even better when partnered with the matcha sundae. Tsujiri used sundae instead of cream. Matcha Lava --Chocolate cake and the matcha lava--- HEAVEN! I really love the choco-matcha combo! Matcha Chiffon Cake --It's soft and very tasty. The transparent jelly on top of the cake has this tangy, lemony taste which balances out the sweetness of the cake. I love it! The prices are very reasonable considering how great the quality of the drinks and desserts Tsujiri offers. The crew was very accommodating and welcoming too. It was really a great matcha experience for me. The moment I stepped inside the store, I already had the feeling/thought of going back though I was still there!
