But I just had the usual quiche since I wasn't very hungry but I just wanted to rest a bit. So I'm going back for the tea and pastries next tome.
The Mega Fashion Hall is the "premium" side of SM Megamall, which house a multiple anchor stores, which include Zara, H&M, Din Tai Fung, Forever 21 and many more.... So many places to go to and so many people to go through, which is why we sought refuge here in this elegantly appointed Cafe. Obviously a "premium version" of the French Baker, serving not only coffee, tea, and some pastries, but a full hot meal, ranging from Salads to Steaks and even Pizzas & Pasta for a European appeal. I had a cup of tea from their selection of Ronnefeldt Teas, which is also for sale and a slice of cake from the pastry counter. Matcha Green Cake (125 PHP) Plated with a side of whipped cream to contrast with overtly green cake and pairs the white frosting. So much padding for an otherwise decent cake, it didn't wow me, but that's just me, maybe you'll enjoy. English Breakfast Tea (125 PHP) Served in a pot for you enjoy through your stay. This my first encounter with Ronnefeldt Tea's, a German tea brand that has been around since 1823. I feel that the brewing process here has mangled the quality of the tea, as it was boiling hot when served, which burned the flavour and extracts too much tannins that made it a bitter experience. eater.ph
Their lasagna and iced caramel coffee are my favorite! I must say that it taste good and the price is right! will definitely go back for more iced coffee
This is my go to place whenever I wanted a chillax place to stay in megamall. However, I was disappointed during my last visit. My friend ordered chicken but after waiting for almost 30 mins, we realized they have forgotten her order.. My moist chocolate cake isn't how I remembered it to be.. Will go back again as this is not like the service I use to get from them given that this the upscale french baker. I hope this is just the one time they messed up. Btw, it was a slow afternoon when we went so bo reason really to forget our order.
It's a classier version of French Baker from the ambiance to the furniture. We ordered Dulce de Leche (Php125) the slice was a bit small for the price. Then I ordered Cafe au Lait (Php125) I liked their coffee blend.
