We went there maybe a few hours before their closing that is why some are not available anymore. Anyway, it's ok because we get to taste the cheese fondue and the snowy chicken which is good. Will definitely go back.
I was excited to try the cheese fondue since I love eating dishes with cheese. I rated this dish as 3/5 because I was imagining a different taste than what it actually tasted like. The cheese was already cold when it was served. I would appreciate if it was served hot. It was tasty but I did not find anything special about it. It actually looked more tasty in the picture than it actually taste. Maybe I will eat this again some other time. I have not tried their other dishes so I can only speak for the cheese fondue. Service at this store though was great.
The cheese fondue platter is a definite experience. Big servings good for family dinners. The place is a little small but it's alright. The korean chicken is good, a lot of flavours to choose from.
I love their chicken and cheese combo. However, the "umay" effect sets in easily (probably because of the cheesiness..I mean look at that bread bowl). Also, it could have been better if the cheese stays warm all throughout. Oh, and the place is small..as in can only sit less than 20 people. But still, I enjoyed our food.
I finally got to try the chicken and cheese fondue of Kko Kko! The cheese fondue half platter is enough to share between 5 people if you're looking to simply try it. It had soy glazed chicken, onion rings and fries (with chili powder flavoring). The soy glazed chicken was a winner for me - even on its own. The glaze was delicious and the chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The cheese, however, was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they used but it was more creamy than cheesy. My friends recommended that we get the Snow Chicken which had a coating of cheese powder (that's why it's named as such). However, there was a choice - either the original cheese powder or the fire chili powder. We opted for the fire chili powder since we already had cheese in the fondue. It was still good. The chicken was big and the breading was crunchy. However, going with the fire chili powder might have been a bad idea for a group with low tolerance for spiciness. It was good, but it was crazy spicy! I was perspiring from the spice! My craving for kimchi jjiae showed up so I ended up ordering one. It was pretty good! Packed with tons of kimchi and big chunks of pork. Good thing it wasn't very spicy so it helped with toning down the spiciness of the fire chili chicken. It saddened me that their jjigae didn't come with rice. Since we're on the topic of rice, the rice served to us at the time was super wet. Someone might have messed up the ratio of water to the grain.
