Shakey's - Pasig

My food to go.My sister and I always find time to visit and order our favorite pizza. You have to bringbyour supercard so you can avail the freebie pizza.

My friend celebrated her birthday party last night at Linden Suites and she chose to have Shakey's as her to go for dinner. She booked a delivery via their online site, got a text message confirmation and apparently they also sent an email requiring an ID to verify the credit card information. This is required because her total bill went over Php 3,000. That requirement was okay, the problem was she didn't know there was an email. I took over and rescued her concerns after waiting for 2 and half hours already.  Fast forward, I got to talk to supervisor and they acknowledged their mistake. I bargained and got a free Fried Chicken Party Pack worth Php 1095 as our freebie for all the inconvenience. So we started the order at 7pm and finally got to eat at 1125pm. It was a frustrating series of events and am glad at the end Shakey's compensated somehow.  As per food, we got the expensive 18 inch Grandslam for almost a Php 1,000. I felt it was too pricey given its size and lack of anything new to it. We also got delicious sweet Spaghetti platter, another party pack of tasty Fried Chicken with Mojos and two other party size pizzas, my favorite thin crust Ham and Pineapple and Manager's Choice. alwayshungry.ph

Ordered pepperoni and also their new flavor: chicken something. It's a meat substitute (meat-free developed by the company Quorn). It's high in protein and low in fat. I got surprised... It tastes like chicken. We had it for take-out for the family of my girlfriend. Nobody knew that it wasn't chicken until we told them. Great alternative option for vegetarians or for curious people to taste it.

Looks a lot better ever since it got renovated. We come here often and we were always seated immediately. Not too crowded. Servers are nice. ????
