Contribuisci feedbackThis is a restaurant that was chosen by my kids when we treated them to a movie last week. To tell you the truth I didn’t even see it when we pass by. My attention was already in another resto when my youngest requested dumplings like Po would eat in Kung Fu Panda. And he pointed this place out when he saw the menu outside. Oh did i mention he’s only old? So yeah. As per request we enter the place and ordered. And omg, best decision ever. We ordered hakaw, crystal ball dumplings, siomai, salted egg fried chicken, beef crispy fried noodles, salt and pepper fried spareribs. All the foods are amazing!!! There is quite a wait, which is totally understandable. There are quite few families dining in at that time. The servings are ample enough to be shared between people. But its the food that you’ll be craving more. I know chinese restos are supposed to be tasty and such. But so far this is the most satisfying chinese foods we’ve had. Definitely thumbs up!!!!
Lunch. This is a tasty reliable no fuss Chinese restaurant. Place is clean, service very good.Ordered yang chow fried rice, siomai, spare ribs dimsum, fried spicy tofu and beancurd roll. All were good as expected.Had the lychee sprite for the first time, this was excellent didnt expect it to be big also. Refreshing.
We tried there seafood promo meal that time that is buy1 take1 and added beef brocolli set meal which have unli rice and unli soup. food there is good if you have a tight budget and the taste is great! we will surely be back..
Food is mid range in price. This is a chinese cuisine but the special thing with the recipes here is they mix most of their food with different fruits like lychees and mangoes! The salted egg chicken is a best seller here. I love the sweet and sour pork plus the sweet and sour fish here since the fruits they combine make it much better tasting than the traditional recipe. Wang Fu is a popular restaurant for ABS-CBN events and this is an affordable yet tasty restaurant. All of their food has superb taste and quality.
Ambiance • 5/5 • The whole restaurant can house approx. 50 people and the place is pristine and posh. I really love the aesthetics of it since it is well-lit, which gave me IG-worthy photos as a result. I've always been a fan of brick walls too, so it's a plus for me. Yay! :) Service • 3.5/5 • The servers and outlet manager were pleasant-looking and efficient, but I believe they can still improve on their attentiveness and being communicative. It wouldn't hurt to smile often, too! :) Taste of Food • 3.5/5 • Their Salted Egg Fried Chicken is really delish! I would've given it 5-stars if I hadn't tasted that of DTF's, so I'll only give a score of 4. But it's still heavenly AF especially when paired with their YC rice and chili sauce so you guys should seriously try it! :) Meanwhile, I'd give 3.5 to their Emperor Chopseuy & Yang Chow Rice. Reason? I tasted better versions of these dishes in other Chinese restaurants. Value for Money • 4.5/5 • Three gratifying dishes for less than P1,000.00 (inclusive of SC) while dining at a resto with a lovely atmosphere. What a way to spend some time with your loved ones! I will definitely go back to try all their Personal Set Menus! Lol, goodbye diet. Haha. Overall it was really nice dining here at Wangfu Chinese Cafe. My chi-foodie self was so happy & contented! :)
