South Ocean Grill - Patchogue

Came here for the restaurant week special with hubby and friend on a Tuesday night. Parking is actually in lot on the side street behind restaurant. Wouldn't advise heels as it is gravel. Tight squeeze for SUVs and trucks. Restaurant was very quaint inside and really quiet which made casual conversation awkward at first until the volume picked up. 1 out of 3 of us chose the restaurant week menu due to choices but food all around was pretty delicious. Drinks were good and would definitely come back for a date night!

We dined here during LI restaurant week, but have eaten here and ordered take-out in the past. The food is always excellent and my favorite is always the mushroom, spinach, caramelized onion, goat cheese flatbread. It is a small, quaint restaurant which never disappoints. Helen, our server was very professional and had a very easy-going attitude. What surprised me was that they had a restaurant week menu with two price points.

My phone does not due this plate a justice. The bones fell off the meat so clean. The food so flavorful and amazing. The French onion soup to die for. The beer, perfect temperature amazing flavor. Come here any chance you get. Awesome and wonderful service super sweet and personable. 10 outta 10 will come again. Wife wanted me to mention the salmon was more than perfect. Also im not a fan of fishy foods but the shrimp and calamari was the bomb dot com. Thank you for having us and being so awesome yall. And having more than amazing foods

Great experience. By the water but no view of the water. Food was good. Service was great. I had the chicken paillard

I’ve been coming here or years and I’m Never let down … amazing food .. Love the atmosphere . Drinks are strong..romantic and private .. Word of advice make reservations…
