Typical steak hose fare, atmosphere is wonderful. It feels like you are entering onto a secret subterranean world, almost like a winery somewhere in Napa. The food is delicious if somewhat pricey.
The staff is extremely warm and welcoming....offering fresh hot cookies to sample. My waiter was also very efficient and eager to please. Those cookies were delicious! Circular with a date filling and not overly sweet. I had the lentil soup and the small lamb shish kebob without the stick wrapped in pita bread and some vegetables. All very tasty.
A decent middle Eastern restaurant. The restaurant has recently changed hands, and it now has a new name: Ward Restaurant. The staff is courteous and polite. The food is average; it's not spectacular, but it's not bad. If someone is looking for a quick and satisfying meal, I recommend ordering from their daily special; otherwise, you would have to wait until the food is cooked. The price is quite reasonable. I ordered a Lamb Maqlooba cooked with potatoes and eggplants, served with two sides: salad and plain yogurt, and a soda. I paid a mere $14.95. My final thought on the place that it is a good place for a casual quick meal.
The service was excellent, the food was delicious and good portions. they even gave me a taste of their harissa which was fresh and authentic. I will recommend and return.
Very nice food. Professional service and reasonable pricing. Very attending and understanding owners.
