Mazatzal Casino - Payson

I always have a fantastic time here! The staff is consistently friendly and provides excellent service. The food is absolutely wonderful! I just wish we could make the long drive to Phoenix more often. Hopefully, we'll be back again soon! I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant—it's very nice! Keep up the amazing work, and please don't get rid of the old dragon machines; they're my wife's favorites! Haha!

Cedar Ridge Restaurant is situated in Mazatzal Casino near Payson. Originally an early buffet venue, it has successfully transformed into a sit-down restaurant offering both table service and a full menu. The menu selections differ from the previous buffet offerings, but both the service and the food quality were commendable. We ordered the grilled chicken with linguine and the pot dinner, both of which included a choice of soup or salad. There was no wait time, and we were seated promptly. Parking is available at the casino hotel lot, which is quite spacious. Though the rooms are part of the casino, they are just a short distance from the restaurant and are clean and well-maintained.

We stopped by for dinner at the restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, and the food was incredible and full of flavor. I had the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. It came with a salad and a soup bar that had so many options. Our meals were truly wonderful. The security guards were not only rude, but worried about the fun they had. I understand that no beer can go into a room, but the guests are harassing and checking their vehicle to ensure that their acceptance, whether said beer was introduced, was a little much I left it in my truck). the security continued to follow us around the casino area the rest of the evening even into the rest room. I paid $416 for a 2 overnight stay to be treated like a criminal, also my only vacation I'm getting away from my four children for the year. I felt haunted and uncomfortable that it was annoying. the casino area is minimal and the machines held jamming and buttons not working very old machines). Compared to casino arizona and We-ko pa this was very disappointing as I am from the city area and visited the other casinos frequently. the staff at the bar was also 50/50 on their costume service. the only positive thing I can say is that the maids and rooms check-in staff were delightful people who seemed happy to be there and so help them to make them beautiful for at least moments of stay. I will never stay there again, nor will I recommend to anyone I know to stay!

Ordered the chopped sirloin meal. The meat was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. I cut it up looking for a good piece. Told the server about it he apologized and told his manager looks like I ate half which I did NOT!. So I asked the manager I have to pay $16 for a burned piece of meat. She says we'll looks like you ate half. All I did was cut it up. I can't believe how petty that manager was being. So if it looks like you ate any of it you'll be charged for it WOW. Usually the food is good there.
