Taqueria Chavez1 - Pelican Rapids

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant around. The crispy barbacoa tacos are excellent. I like to stop during lunch, but the wife and I went last night, and the new location was packed. The prices are reasonable and the flavors authentic.

Taqueria Chavez is incredible. Everything I have eaten here is authentic. The portions are generous, the service great and the prices are reasonable. Best Mexican food restaurant I have been to in the midwest.

Horrible experience, I walked with my Mexican friend, and she decided to sit at this colorful table. This waiter (Spanish guy) approaches us and asks us if we can seat another small table and my friend toll him we wanted to seat where we was. Ok, we decided to change the table. Then he asked what we wanted to drink and he left. When we walk away from the table 4 white people can and seat the first table. Ok, we noticed that they were served first. And we got angry after we noticed they food too. Is so sad to be discriminated against by your own Raza. Que pena con este restaurante, nos descriminaron.

Amazing place! The Torta with fried steak is the best!

Drove from Fargo after hearing all of the great reviews and it definitely didn't disappoint! We'll definitely be coming back!
