Manager on duty was rude to customers and employees. She had a horrible attitude. She was totally unprofessional in speaking with the employees. And she was only taking care of the customers going through the drive-thru.
The drive thru speaker made the conversation unintelligible. The only change I wanted was to hold the ketchup and mustard and add mayo to my big jack. This resulted in a burger with absolutely nothing but meat and mayo. No tomato lettuce pickles, nothing. I 've eaten here many times and I really can 't remember anything better.I 'll also point out they once called the police on me for eating in the parking lot, apparently too close to closing. The cop said they thought I wanted to abduct someone as they left, pretty silly and I can 't believe the manager allowed it. And I called their customer service the next day and got an apology and promises of coupons and so forth. Never received anything. I think it 's a tossup over the worst Jack 's between this one and the ones in odenville, moody and Leeds. But I 'm now realizing that Jack 's is just a poorly run chain. This says a lot about the management, they obviously have terrible customer service training and that means other training is going to be lacking as well. Hand washing and proper cleaning in the back is likely non-existent. But you 'll never know until your gut starts telling you to find a bathroom. Jack 's are everywhere around here which is good because you can eat at one and then go to the next for the restroom, but hurry. Things like having the cashier handle nasty money and then turn around and touch food with bare hands is what causes the stomach issues. I could go on and on but I will simply say I will avoid them at all costs, which also is way too much for what you get. $9 for a screwed up burger and a dozen unsalted fries is enough reason to avoid this dumpster fire
Jack's in Pell City is always the first stop for food on our way to the lake. Usually, it's a huge box of chicken thighs fingers with mashed potatoes that have never disappointed the service is consistently above average. Unfortunately, this review isn't about the employees or their delicious fried chicken it's for the 3 Big Jack combos 2 cheeseburger combo that we opted for this time, again, unfortunately. Bland, dry pale meat on a somehow drier bun, which, yes, was actually possible. And, while I usually get enough unsweetened ice tea to last the weekend, a couple of sips this time was enough to decide it was too old bitter to have been served. I'm not going to let this ruin the years of food I've enjoyed from them, but in all honesty, the food was gross enough to throw away stop at Taco Bell.
Terribly slow service for breakfast. Over 30min is not fast food.*Update still 40 minutes for breakfast!!
Wanted to try the new boneless wings and they were the most disgusting thing i’ve tasted here. the sauce was hot but the wings were cold. i ordered a chicken sandwich as well. cold. only thing hot was the fries. i keep wasting my money here giving them chance after chance. they probably were shorthand but that doesn’t excuse for old food. THROW IT AWAY. i won’t be back
