Madameek - Pembroke

This restaurant is a definite must-visit for me. The food is delicious, the chefs are amazing, and the place is very clean. Everything is fresh and made to order right in front of you. They strive to maintain authenticity by using ingredients and processes that reflect their ethnic background, even keeping the names of the dishes on the menu in Lebanese. The staff is excellent, the food is excellent, and overall it's an excellent place to dine.

I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and have tried almost every item on the menu. Everything is delicious. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly. The dining area is very small but cozy and clean. I highly recommend trying the chicken shawarma plate, which comes with spicy rice, potatoes, and fried Halloumi cheese - it's delicious. Don't forget to order some labna bil toum dip and extra pitas for a snack tomorrow, as you will most likely be too full to eat again tonight. The menu may be a bit difficult to navigate, as many items are listed with their Lebanese names and some lack detailed descriptions. However, the staff is happy to explain and even offer samples. Overall, if you are in the Pembroke area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! I ordered the chicken shawarma in a box and it's the best shawarma I've ever had. Plus, I can easily eat here without worrying about my dairy, egg, and yeast allergies.

We heard about this place from relatives that live in the valley and made the trip from Renfrew to Pembroke just to have lunch. Just a wee little place that is easy to miss. The menu looked a little confusing but the staff was very helpful. Don't recall the dish I had (but it was awesome just the same), my wife had the fattoush salad with grilled Leboneze cheese. Wish we had stopped in earlier during our stay in the valley as we would have visited a few more times to sample more of the menu. Definitely a hidden gem, worth a visit, I'm sure you'll agree.

The food, the location, the owner. everything is perfect! rich amount and delicious food. madameek is the place to go when they want to eat and sleep. the food community is really haha. recommended and will always go for a beautiful large schawarma plate. the prices are good and decent.
