Chopping Block Penrith

We had a nice box meat cheese from chopping block. the turquoise krone was delicious with vernacular in cover, sausage meat black pudding scotch eier accompanied. I got a Turkish neck for the heavy ones. we also have a pork fillet that was delicious with cream mushrooms. we still have steakwurst to eat. I can highly recommend the quality of eating, the great service of the staff. I can't wait until the coffee shop opens again.

The quality of all food is excellent, in particular that from the butcher's counter. I've never been disappointed with everything I bought. I did not eat there, only coffee and occasionally a delicious sohne or special Sicilian baked goods that were delicious. the employees are always happy and helpful, so it is a very pleasant place to shop and/or eat.

Enjoyed a lovely meat and cheese board for lunch with the family here. The staff were pleasant and the food and drinks were all high quality, and the sourdough bread is a nice touch. The cheese selection was a little generic and tasteless, though, and none of the staff except the manager knew what they were I swithered over whether this was worth four stars or five, but realised I probably wouldn't order it again if the cheese quality was the same. Would happily pay a few more pounds or take one fewer block of cheese if the ones on the board were better. The Brie and the St James' cheese were the only two that lived up to expectations. Edit: Thanks Sarah for your response we had only asked about the St James as that was one we enjoyed the most, and so we didn't inquire about the other two, but assumed the orange one must be some kind of cheddar! Hope the photo can be of some help in identifying. We visited this past Saturday afternoon.

Nice deli and butchers, good aged meat for a good price. Looks a nice cafe too, which did not visit this time.

Everything was perfect once again! I had the opportunity to introduce one of my favorite places to my brother-in-law, and he loved it. We were both impressed by the service and the food. I ordered the mouthwatering pulled pork again, this time served on toast with a truly delicious vinegar sauce. I tried to convince my brother-in-law to sample the tomato-red pepper soup and the sausage roll, but he was too busy enjoying his meal. Thank you once again for the fantastic food and service. For anyone reading this in search of negative feedback, there isn't any—my brother-in-law wants to come back and visit us again!
