Islander Food Shack - Pensacola

Ate here for the first time while on vacation it was right across from my condo . It’s a mediocre place for seafood the shrimp basket was ok but the oyster poboy had only 5 small oysters on it and only a hand full of fries the coleslaw tasted spoiled it’s overpriced for what you get.but the service was good just need to work on the food. Our server, Lisa, was very nice and accommodating. The burgers were excellent. Hand-made, real cheese. Atmosphere is very casual. Would eat here again. One of the most racist experiences of my life. Sat for almost 45 minutes with children and everything and couldn't even get a glass of water and was met with hostility when asked what was going on. Would not recommend. Can't rate the food because I was unable to even order a drink.

We ordered take out and were told it would be 25 min. We then ended up waiting another 30 min. At the restaurant for our food. The food was not worth the wait.
