My family and I (6 adults and one child) went to Dolce this afternoon after skydiving at Pepperell Skydiving. It was around 2:30, and the place was empty inside a couple was eating on the outside terrace, which looked very nice for a summer day. We ate inside, and we had an excellent experience. With few people in the restaurant, we received a lot of attention. We got cold water right away, our drink orders were immediately taken and filled, and our food order was taken soon after. The waitress was excellent very friendly, smiling, helpful. She brought fresh bread with baked garlic. I had ordered a vegetable panini that was accompanied by home made chips fantastic! Everyone agreed their meals were delicious. I will definitely add Dolce to my list of 'must do ' restaurants, especially if I go skydiving again. Kudos, Dolce!
Under new ownership, and the place is packed! This will be a terrific place for people in Pepperell and surrounding towns to enjoy a good meal prepared and served by now-happy employees. The name will soon be changed to Mariano's. We didn't dine at Dolce this evening, but stopped in for a drink so we could toast the new owner and wish her and her husband the best.
First time here...food was above average, good beer selection, service was ok. I liked the atmosphere and everyone was very nice. I will come back again with the family, especially with the lack of good places in pepperell.
Food was mediocre at best. Fish was overcooked, bland, and didn't seem fresh. Lack of seasoning on all dishes. Chicken was overcooked and bland as well. Pasta is homemade but, again, lacked any kind of decent sauce. Salad was crisp. No bread offered. The waitress was excellent. Prices are high for the terrible food. Go to Gibbett Hill Groton if you want a good meal for the same .
