My family is from Pérez Zeledón and as beautiful as the city is in the middle of the mountains, it can be difficult for vegetarians to find a good place to eat. This juice bar was a lifesaver, as it was the only place with a menu devoid of meat that I could find. It was very clean, with friendly staff and reasonably priced. The fruit blends were surprisingly delicious and refreshing in the hot weather of San Isidro del General. You can customize your juice with or without ice, sweeteners, and a straw. They have seating available or you can take your juice to go. Vegetarians should be aware that white sugar in Costa Rica may not be vegetarian, so you can ask for your drink to be made with honey instead.
