Food is decent, I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could as that would be more accurate. IMO the steaks are good quality but tasteless, with little to no flavor unless doused in some kind of sauce (e.g. A1, etc... . Our service was good and all the orders were correct. I will say the hot fudge cake was really good. The atmosphere is quite blah...kind of dark inside, an old building (with the restaurant being there since 1970 . Outside is quite nice, with the restaurant being on the golf course and Chubb Lake behind it. Not a lot of places to choose from in the area, so maybe worth a try.

I ordered the prime rib. I could tell the moment it came out it was not cooked the way Prime rib should be. Also came out on a hot skillet which is another no no! My boyfriend had the ribeye hardly any flavor.

Absolutely cannot get a better steak elsewhere. Great food all around with an exceptional salad bar and very attentive staff.

The worst restaurant EVER! We drove up from Georgia to celebrate a family members birthday. Four of us went to the Old Country Club Restaurant on Friday, May 3,2024. Terrible from the very beginning. We were given 1 menu for 4 people; and when we said something they brought only 1 more. The rolls cheese came and only contained 3. THERE WERE FOUR OF US!! Three people ordered ribeyes, there was no char absolutely no seasoning added. The potatoes were all under cooked. One person ordered the scallops and they came in a bowl of melted butter and were over cooked. The only good thing was the salad bar. For over $140 the food was horrible!! Will never recommend or go back!!

Nice traditional diner feel. Very friendly staff. Refreshingly knew what an Arnold Palmer drink is. Clean and fresh salad bar.
