I eventually settled on the pear and polenta (I think it's pear and polenta or it might be almond meal) which was beautifully presented with poached pears in the cake and dried pears on top. Oh my goodness. It was the most delightful cake I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Beautifully moist and light and not too sweet (I'm not a fan of creamy custardy cakes). Even the non-cake eaters at work were persuaded to try a bit and some went back for me. Seriously, these cakes are only a tad more expensive than the mass produced ones at a well known franchise cake shop but they are light years ahead in terms of quality. There is no comparison. And the service is always lovely and friendly. This is definitely my go to cake place. If it wasn't an issue with calories I'd go every day just so I could try them all.
My favourite bakery in Perth, and one of the best I've experienced in Australia. Friedly chef, consistently amazing food. Definitely try the orange cake and peacan pie. Breads are also exceptional.
Hands down one of the best patisseries in perth. The Swiss owner bakes his lovely morsels with traditional European techniques . The almond croissant and blueberry/rhubarb muffin are pure bliss.friendly service always and competitive pricing.if I wasn’t on a low carb diet I would be at this place every day .<br/
Beautiful bakery. Fresh and tasty unlike other places you can get sweets that are just overload with sugar and no flavour. Good place and I will be comming back!!
Writing this review after my second time. The smell when you enter this place is just amazing..you close your eyes for a second just take it in. There is too much to choose from so you would definitely return back for more. On my first visit, tried the almond croissant frangipani tart..both were top quality. On my second visit today, tried the chocolate brownie, macadamia tart, raspberry rhubarb tart and a slice of swiss apple. Unfortunately they ran out of pies so thats for another time. All the things I tried were exceptional, you could tell a difference between them other commercially baked goods..these were made with a lot of love and care. I was searching for a good bakery since a long time..my search is finally over. Not to mention all the items are very well priced. Ive heard the Chu bakery is good too next door..havent been there yet but this would be hard to beat.
