I appreciate that I am not a Chinese person, but also scientific friends who approve this place.
When I looked for a quick lunch today, I decided to try the famous xiao long bao (steam pork dumpling) from the shang hai restaurant in northbridge. it tastes really good, and worth money. $7 for a part of the right xiao long bao. the package was soft, but not easy to break so that the juice safely landed on my mouth! recommended only if they want a fast meal, as the restaurant is not really nice to sit long.
Terrible and worst restaurant ever been, portion size extremely bad, $21.9 for tooth fish ton pot, which only 4 nuggets size pieces of fish and full bowl of greasy aubergins, the owner displaced and he said it has always been like this?! never!
I wasn't sure when I came in, I felt a little unwilling to sit and eat here; but I decided to try it anyway. the place was very quiet when we came in; there were only 1 tables at the time. the menu is not the biggest and has not excited me. I ordered fish fillet in special liqueur sauce, deep fried garnish in homemade sose and hot spicy pork. Surprisingly both the fish and the garnel were beautiful; especially the sauce. the shredded pig is not sharp enough to me. is generous
Hidden treasure place. Traditional Shanghai flavour, dumpling, bun, pancake, so much to try. And the price is good. Really nice. You must try for it. Love this place so much.
