Omg!!!! If you’re looking for some authentic Newfoundland food, this is the place to go! We got the moose poutine which was absolutely outstanding. Two of us split it alongside the seafood chowder and could barely finish, it was so much food. The chowder was delicious too. Definitely amongst my favourite meals from the week I spent in Newfoundland.

Great menu options. The waitress said she wished she had a camera to see our faces when she served the food. Try the spinach dip.

Absolutely the best fish I’ve ever had! I’ve tried to visit this place for the past four years, and I'm thrilled I finally made it! The location in Petty Harbour is stunning. The cod cake starter was wonderful—slightly dry in texture, but clearly very fresh. We also ordered the calamari, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful! The fish and chips were the best I’ve encountered! The cod flaked perfectly apart; it was simply amazing! The only improvement needed would be the “chips.” The fries were just average, if not bordering on disappointing. If they could elevate their fry game, I’m confident this place would never earn a rating lower than a 4! Bob Taylor was performing, which made our experience even better! He added a special touch to our meal with his beautiful Newfoundland music.

The atmosphere and service at this restaurant, located in a charming town after our visit to Cape Spear, were a delightful surprise. The food was excellent, and the restaurant was buzzing with happy customers enjoying their meals. I tried a flavorful seafood chowder, while my husband opted for a loaded burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches, accompanied by delicious fries—definitely enough to share!

This was our second attempt to dine at this restaurant since they were closed in January during our first visit. It was definitely worth the wait! The service was friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We ordered the cod tongues, seafood chowder, and moose cheese melt sandwich, all of which were fantastic.
