First time dining at this establishment. The ambiance and decor is pretty unique. The chips and salsas were good. We especially enjoyed the green sauce an avocado salsa, maybe? The red salsa was just spicy enough, and delicious. The food was quite alright, but a bit more bland than expected. I had the chile relleno with ground beef, and I added some of the red salsa on top for some extra flavor. I ordered charro beans, and was served refried. No biggie, we just asked again for the charro but it never arrived. Our server wasn’t super attentive, but she was kind and sweet. Most likely she was a little stressed, and possibly overworked (as the restaurant business seems to be these days, anyway). All in all we had a good time, and we will come back with our kids and grandkid, and try some other dishes sometime.
Food is good. Prices have gone up but I guess that’s due to inflation. The manager is always there, he always comes by to every table to make sure you are satisfied. Mexican martinis are really good and they have happy hour until 7pm.
