La Dolce Perla - Pforzheim

We have been here a number of times now-- each time we visit Pforzheim-- and are never disappointed. The food is authentic Italian. Service has never been great, but it's worth the wait. Pricey.

For family reasons ,we've been more than once in Pforzheim lately.After some search ,we decided to give a try at La Dolce Perla .We went for lunch , the restaurant was quite .So, we got a bit skeptical about the food ,and the whole experience.Surprisingly,the young waitress was so professional and well informed .The food was very delicious and freshly prepared.The experience was so enjoyable ,that we went again after few days for dinner .Again ,the service was very goood with excellent food quality.Recommendations to try : the Fish choices, Pasta Vongole and Panna Cotta

Nice food, desert, and drinks! Friendly staff and the atmosphere is pleasant for an hour or two on a Saturday afternoon for example.

After a horrendous five hour car journey from Austria, La Dolce Perla was a shining beacon in the middle of an otherwise deserted Pforzheim. Despite it being very late on a Sunday night, they kept the restaurant open so that we could eat - they obviously understood our desperation! The decor is a bit twee but the food was absolutely great. Splendid pasta dishes, excellent meat dishes. Very generous portions, and a good drinks menu. We were too exhausted to try puddings, but they sounded great too. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. The penne with gorgonzola, noci e spinaci would be my pick of our dishes.

I was recently in Pforzheim and had a taste for Italian food ...and landed in this restaurant which has nothing very much Italian if not the name ..the interior is simple , not giving a lot of pleasure , nothing special , but service was ok and the owner is helping to make things run....food was very good and I was impressed ,,,excellent carpaccio and a very good traditional Piccata Milanese ....together we a glass if good open red wine ....finally I can recommend the restaurant for its food , not for the interior or atmosphere .
