Nicolosi's Pizza - Phillipsburg

Cam from Georgia visited family in Petersburg and had a great experience. The pizza was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. They even chatted with us about football while we were there.

This is and will always be the pizza all the others are compared. Perfect. Seriously.

Finding the restaurant might be a bit of a challenge since it’s tucked away at the back of an older shopping center overshadowed by modern hospital buildings. But if you manage to locate it, you’re in for a treat! They specialize exclusively in pizza—only pizza—available by the slice or as a whole pie, with plenty of toppings to choose from. Despite the simplicity of the menu, they’ve been perfecting their craft since 1964, and it really shows. It was the best pizza I’ve had in years! I mentioned to them that they made this New York transplant (currently living in PA) very happy. I even ordered a whole pie to take home because it was that delicious! My sons loved it the next day too. The staff were kind enough to offer my friend and me a sample of their freshly made Sicilian cakes right out of the oven, which was the lightest and brightest flavor of Sicily I’ve experienced. I can’t wait to return!

A hometown favorite! You can’t go wrong with a slice here. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce, yummy cheese and topped with pepperoni. Add your garlic, oregano and pepper flakes if you like. Wash it down with a soda. Go all the way! No diet here.
