Great little stopover on our way to our weekend retreat. Hubby said you must try the homemade fudge! Friendly folks, Great ice cream and cookies, and super cute Ole fashion decor! Love it!
I don’t even know where to begin with this… We stopped after our visit at Sassafras Mountain hoping to get a good bite to eat and boy should we have kept driving! It took our waitress about 10 minutes to realize we were even there, another 45 minutes to an HOUR for our food and then our food was terrible. My husband didn’t even eat two bites of the chicken fried chicken, said the potato salad tasted like literal dirt and there was absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. My son’s grilled cheese looked like they put the bread in the toaster then added some cheese as the cheese slice wasn’t even melted!! I will say, the fried pickles were the only good thing and the only glimmer of hope. Almost $60 for horrible/terrible food. Do yourself a favor and keep driving to find better food.
The Blue Bells ice-cream was yummy. I didn't see anything I wanted at any of the shops besides ice-cream.
We discovered Aunt Sue’s several years ago while camping at Table Rock. We have been back many times, always a wonderful experience with great staff!
