First you need to have an open mind, this place only gets busy around midnight or after. GOOD MUSIC on Saturday nights for sure. Nice spot to have fun with responsible adults

The place was hopping, lots of good music and crowds of people. we did not eat anything but just had a few drinks

All the staff are great! You are well taken care of here! You will never come across drunken idiots in the place. Music is great both Friday and Saturdays, they have special events and when they do lots of special entertainment and freebe's for everyone!

I have been to this bar several times over the past 10 years and have always enjoyed the music and crowd. Having organized a "GIrls Night" and recommending the Jukebox, I was super excited to bring some good friends for a well needed night out. When we arrived (10:45 p.m), the music had a slow beat. After about half an hour, I finally went up to the DJ and requested music with a quicker tempo so we could dance. The DJ did not smile as I approached him, and after I put in my request, he coldly said that Friday nights are "Urban music", and this was the type of music he would be playing for the rest of the night. Needless to say, I was terribly disappointed, and so were the ladies I brought along ... not to mention that the bar was getting crowded, and there still wasn't anyone on the dance floor at midnight. We decided to check out a new club around the corner, "Cocktail House" on Brock Road, north of Kingston. The music was MUCH better, with a great beat, and the owner bought us all drinks because we defected from Jukebox. A word of advice for the DJ ... Listen to the ladies on Ladies' Night.

I really like the fact Jukebox picked a good line up of DJs/ Mic Man. Mark Strong, Chris Micheals (who plays Brant House downtown), and DJ SuperNatty. Saturday - Top 40s night. Totally different crowd. This crowd more dances a little more freely. People really enjoy themselves.I have been going out and enjoying for years. I will say this place is underrated. Owners care, great staff, good personable bouncers. Need a night out in Durham. This is your spot. Pick your night based on DJ. Its all in your attitude. Given that there is enough to have fun here, you should!
