Flavor wise, the okra chicken fried steak are pretty good. The okra used the same breading as the catfish, which is a smart move in my opinion. Chicken fried steak had an appropriate ratio of breading steak. The only things I'd recommend are adding apinch of pepper on the country gravy, as well as using more of a cheddary cheese for the Mac n cheese. Other than that, theportions flavor of the meat is worth the price.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. However, the glass of water we received had an odd taste, almost like it was laced with chemicals or fluoride, suggesting it hadn't been filtered properly. Aside from the water issue, everything else was fantastic.

I discovered this restaurant a couple of months ago, and I have to say, the green beans are fantastic—full of flavor! The steaks are incredibly tasty, and the tuna is equally delicious.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is great for families and friends alike. However, it's not the right spot if you're just looking to grab a quick beer or drink. I paid $12 for two domestic 12 oz. beers, including the tip, which seems a bit steep. There are definitely better options available if you're looking for reasonably priced beverages.
