No trip to Pine is complete without stopping the Early Bird Cafe. Food is delicious, hot, large portions and served with a smile. They are usually busy, only open til 2, so you may need to wait. Today, six of us have come in. Our servers Vicky Sherry were fast, friendly and fast with refills and extras. The chefs Michael Greg did a fantastic job with orders and everything was perfectly cooked. I only took a few pictures, forget the outside and the menu. I had chicken fried steak, eggs over easy, hashbrowns pancake. My husband had pancakes, sausages and scrambled eggs. A son had egg, mushroom, chorizo green chili burrito. Other son had big waffles with bacon and my parents had cookies Gravy with eggs. We almost ate everything, just one to go to box. Nice, cozy café with really good food prices. Try next time in Pine, right on Beeline Hwy.
We ate here twice on holiday. My family liked food, especially pancakes. I thought the breakfast Burrito was great. Gravy was for cookies and Gravy, but not bad. Overall a good place for breakfast. My only drawback is the service, the people are nice, but you can say that they have enough of us from the village. We sat both times next to the kitchen and it was annoying to hear the dishes constantly and to hear the people of Jibbering jabbering, but it was pretty busy.
This is the place to breakfast whether you like it or not. If a family has changed, so enjoy the slow pace.
Cozy, family owned, small town vibe! Very efficient even though they were understaffed. Outstanding food! Pancakes were HUGE! Food came out fast. Amazing prices!
