Having traveled extensively to dine at fine restaurants and engaged with people from diverse backgrounds, I believe I have a good understanding of quality, fresh, and well-prepared food. Phoenix has become my favorite restaurant in CENLA. The power of their food is remarkable, with an endless variety to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. Personally, I find that everything is consistently fresh. The owners and their son are always welcoming and pleasant, which makes for a great dining experience, even when some customers may not be in the best mood. I affectionately refer to them as my adopted Chinese family. If you want to see how much their loyal customers appreciate them, just take a look at the photos on the wall as you enter; they capture moments with family members who love and frequent Phoenix whenever they can. Don't let negative reviews, often fueled by hate, sway your opinion. These reviews can be detrimental to businesses and spread discontent, especially in the age of social media.

Don't pay attention to the negative reviews about this restaurant! The service is incredibly friendly, and their Egg Drop Soup is fantastic! I highly recommend you give it a try, even if your first experience wasn't great. It’s possible you visited during a busy time when they were refreshing the food, which can happen. This place is definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurants! The owner and manager are very nice as well!

After my family and I visited the restaurant following its renovations, we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick! The food was the standout feature; it was as good as ever. I have to say, their rolls and hibachi meals truly make them the best place for Japanese cuisine in the city. My absolute favorite is the Pink Lady roll, especially after trying several different types. I highly recommend it!

Owner is extremely polite and serious! Hard working mom! Also very polite employees! Because of covid19, it comes out to welcome you, gives menu and daily specialties, order directly from your car! Waiting time is less than ride thru on any local chain and food is fresh to order! Today I had and won.
