Overall everything was good. The ravioli were a little overdone.
Long wait. Poor service. Small portions Waited 1/2 hour before we received our drinks. It was almost an hour before her dinner was served. We ordered the scallops. We got three of them. When we questioned our waiter about the delay, he threw his arms up and said we have a new system. I can’t put it in and walked away. Then went to another table and took their order.
We arrived for our reservation on time and we were taken to a table to sit with 4 others. WTF! Communal seating? Don't see that mentioned on the web site or the Queen's Feast site. If I wanted communal seating I'd go to a crab shack. There were other open tables. We had reservations for several weeks. Then we were offered the table next to the hostess stand and front door. Are you kidding? Hostess couldn't care less about the situation. I'll make Open Table is aware of this failure of service. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect.
We had never dined at The Garrison and decided to try it during Charlotte Restaurant Week. We were a few minutes early and our table was not ready, so we sat at the bar. The hostess and bar staff were all great! We were seated closed to our reservation time, and although our dinners were AMAZING, our server was not very attentive or friendly and forgot to bring our desserts.
