Deep Taste - Pinhel

After going from our home in the sunny algarve to the. Serra da estrela for snow in the winter… we found nothing but wet rain wind and closed hotels and restaurants… for our long earned holidays…until we came across this absolute gem of a place sent from the gods to save our day!! ..we had a bad day and paid a lot for it both hotel and restaurant.. previous so we were in a bad mood and not very friendly whatsoever , we were hungry tired and pissed off when we found this place… the waitress was very friendly ….we were not! .. we ordered and expected the worse as the restaurant was empty for lunch .. but it was 2 pm ….and !! mid January…. The food came and it was the best we have had for a very long while … anywhere!! never have I been so impressed and so pleasantly surprised!! Ever!!! I have a restaurant so I’m VERY hard to please !! this was the best place Ive been to in years! I’m very used to criticism and competition but recognize talent and sheer ability when I see it and this is it !!! I’m so sad this place is so far away from me or I’d come every single opportunity! The service, the food, the menu ,the diversity, the LOCAL wines , the freshest home made food even in the low season !! The availability of everything on the menu . The friendliness the welcome the sheer grateful welcoming hospitality the professional service we had was second to none … I pleaded with the owner to move closer to me so I can come more often !! seriously if you are within 400km of this place GO THERE IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE !! I’ve driven further for 2. Michelin restaurants and been less impressed!! THANKYOU FOR MAKING OUR HOLIDAY! SEE YOU DOON LOVE CHICCA XX PS YOU ARE TOO CHEAP!

Comida muito saborosa e bem servida. há uma grande variedade, o ambiente é bastante agradável e a equipe muito simpática. Voltamos no mesmo dia! nós gostamos e recomendamos!

Jantar de grupo, 10 pessoas. Fomos muito bem atendidos, por pessoal muito simpático. Pratos tão bons quanto bonitos, nota-se o gosto que o chef tem pela cozinha! Estava tão bom e tão apetitoso que nem me lembrei de tirar fotografias dos pratos terei que lá voltar!

Os tamanhos das porções eram bons. Preparação bem. A apresentação poderia ser um pouco mais criativa. Serviço muito agradável. A decoração do restaurante é algo “estéril”.

Comida muito boa diferenciado para a pequena cidade de Pinhel staff muito simpatico recomendo !
