Hunan Villa - Pinole

The food was exceptional and arrived steaming hot. The kids particularly enjoyed the BBQ Pork on Steamed Buns, which are flat dumplings you can fill yourself. The Fried Prawns were fantastic, wrapped in spring roll wrappers like shrimp in a blanket, and served with sweet chili sauce. We will definitely return for more!

We weren't impressed with our meal. The Chicken Chow Mein was mostly cabbage, the Salt and Pepper Pork Chops were undercooked, and the Mongolian Beef had too many vegetables and lacked flavor. We won't be ordering from here again!

I always enjoy the chow mein and spring rolls. They’re my favorite dishes!

Vegetable Chow Mein was delicious. Mu Shu Vegetable was also very tasty. Egg Fu Yung was flavorful but only had peas and carrots as the vegetables. Green onion pancakes were more like wontons with how crispy they were. Salt Pepper Tofu was just ok as it was a bit bland—needed more salt.

I asked for extra chilis in my Mongolian beef but there was only 2. Still very good, not too greasy and good quality meat. Just keep in mind they may not pay attention to special requests.
