When I asked about the recipe, they told me to ask the dining room when they open. they said they didn't spare one. the toilet paper is like sandpaper. marriott is much better in terms of accelerating basic needs.as not drink from plastic. room back of body odour. restaurant was amazing. a separate business and independent of the hotel. an example of how high-quality managment looks. Don't let me get into the parking situation in a criminal infestation, drug addicts who want to use your phone, etc.
Cheap accommodation in the region berkshires. normally a safe option. this particular situation seemed to be struggling with resource capacity, but this could have to do with the peak weekend we visited. they are currently going through a garage repair situation. the plot in front of location is characterized for structural damage and needs complete renovation. that means that you car must go through a valet service, the poor youngs must drive the cars to a parking lot one block over then rinse and repeat. can take 40 minutes from the request to get her car back. the interiors are well constructed, well maintained, efficiently operated. it wasn't much for a new rule of the room that will be waited every 5 days. a question to the recipe was refreshed. would like to return again, preferably at less crowded days.
The room was nice, but only one elevator ran. this made it forever up and down from the higher etagens on a busy weekend. it is in a good position. ware! their parking garage is closed and they pay a parking fee to park the road on a bank parking lot.
I want to start with something positive here. The staff at this restaurant is overall friendly and helpful. They do their best with the resources provided to them. I have had several stays and participated in various events on the premises over the past few decades, and the staff has always been the shining star. This is probably the main reason why it is difficult for me to give this place a one-star rating. Unfortunately, the hotel building itself does not make their jobs easier. Currently, there is no parking available in front of the location, as it is closed for necessary repairs. The rooms were recently renovated when the property changed from a Crown Plaza to a Holiday Inn, but they are generally small with areas that show the renovations were done quickly and cheaply. There is also a strange old hotel smell on certain floors that they have not been able to eliminate completely. The rooms are adequate, but if you have stayed in a newer or freshly renovated property elsewhere, you will notice the difference immediately. During our stay, there was an issue with the elevator that made my wife nervous as the doors would rub and the elevator would stop on certain floors. The staff seemed to be quick to contact the elevator company for repairs, but the elevator still did not seem quite right, even after the repairs. Overall, the staff at this hotel does their best with what they have, but it is currently difficult for me to recommend staying at this property. Repairing the parking garage and modernizing the rooms would greatly improve the experience, but at this time, it is hard for me to justify returning unless there were no other options available.
Honestly just fine for what it is: an affordable, central hotel in a popular region. 12 minute drive to Lenox, 20-30 to the other towns around, both north and south. Good breakfast places around. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the building is obviously old but they’ve done a fine job with making it presentable. The parking garage is creepy but again fine, and they’re doing work on it. And they’re dog friendly and flexible and the walls seem to be thick enough to make for some privacy.Wish I could have seen the pool mezzanine and take some pics of the old school Holiday Inn canopy, but it’s closed for COVID. Maybe next time. The rest of the place was delightfully retro and I enjoyed that. Perfectly serviceable place and a fine stay.
