Corner Bakery Cafe - Pleasant Hill

Update: This evening, the three little ones shared two generous portions of Pesto Cavatappi, and two of them really enjoyed it. I tried the loaded potato soup today, and it was fantastic! I also had half of a sharp balsamic pulled pork panini, which was okay but not my favorite. My husband really liked the crisp spinach salad. The staff was incredibly friendly as well.

The menu typically features soups, sandwiches, and salads, but I usually stick to the salads and soups, as I'm not really a sandwich person. However, I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every soup and salad I've tried. During my recent visit, I stopped by mainly to redeem the free treat they offer as a Happy Anniversary gift through their eCafe club. Since it had been a while since I enjoyed their food, and I used to frequent it when I lived in Orange County, I decided to settle in and savor a hot bowl of their Zesty Chicken Tortilla soup. It was perfect, especially since the weather had turned quite chilly. Although my visit was brief, it was comforting to sit down and indulge in a familiar favorite in a new location. I also claimed my free treat; I usually go for the Raspberry Bar, but they were out of it when I visited. Instead, I opted for the Pecan Bar, which I'm sure will be just as good. While I haven't tried the pecan bar yet, I'm looking forward to enjoying every bite. It's not something I do every day, but I always appreciate my trips to Corner Bakery Cafe. I didn't order a drink this time, as I felt it would be too cold and would counteract the warmth of my delicious soup. As always, the service was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I love Corner Bakery Cafe, and I'm thrilled to have such a conveniently located spot with ample parking in downtown Pleasant Hill.

The atmosphere is fantastic, making it an ideal spot to meet up with friends. There's plenty of room to relax, and the coffee is surprisingly good. The people are extremely friendly, and Linda always brightens your day with a smile. It's a laid-back, cool place to grab a bite or enjoy a drink. There are cozy nooks and areas where you can unwind in peace.

Excellent attention, very rich food, fast service and very clean place.

Had a good scrambler which is just eggs mixed with veggies and cheese. My wife ordered a side of bacon and it came with more than a couple pieces so that was a nice surprise. It 's one of those 'hybrid ' places where you order at a register and they bring your food to you. We left a couple bucks on the table. Hope they got it! I 'll definitely be back if I want some solid breakfast options.
