After placing my order, I noticed that there was no one working and it took 5 minutes before any preparation started. It seemed like the workers were more interested in chatting with each other than serving customers. The açaí bowl I received was average at best, with too much ice and a bland taste. It seemed like the restaurant was not specialized in making açaí bowls.
This restaurant focuses on serving smoothies and açaí bowls, but unfortunately, the pike does not taste fresh. It seems to be overly frozen, possibly from being stored in a freeze-box. The interior is also uninviting, with strange decorations and a cold atmosphere. For a better smoothie option, I would recommend visiting Jamba Juice.
I go here whenever it is a hot day and I want a nice snack / meal. the bowls are quite full. make sure they don't ask a honey or pollen. all ingredients are listed in the menu, so it is easy to adjust. most dishes can be made easily vegan.
While the restaurant is not entirely vegan, they do offer some delicious vegan junk food options. Recently, they have started serving meat products and have pictures of them on the walls. Their bowls are essentially vegan frozen yogurt with muesli on top. They also offer a bee product called bee pollen, which may not sit well with some customers ethically. Additionally, they use honey on many of their dishes, so be sure to specify if you do not want it added.
