On Plougastel Daoulas apart from pizzas, kebab there are not too many choices.... When you push the door of this restaurant with these well-trained white tablecloths and the person who welcomes you in ties, we thought we were being repressed as in our southeast... Well, no! Not only did we enjoy ourselves and had a pleasant time. The person who serves us is the owner and has an appreciable sense of humor. For 2 adults and 1 child the rating was 81 euros. My son had an inlet tomato salad with a delicious sauce, a butchered steak and fries, a nice dessert ice cream. My entry spouse Fricassée de Queues de Langoustines Flambées, in dish Choucroute de Poissons and dessert as it could more it took sorbet. For me no entry because I have a small appetite so in dish Duck Magret in Honey and dessert Hot Fine Tarte with Apples, Vanilla ice cream. With all this a bottle of white wine and coffee. We've been enjoying ourselves. Restaurant to discover! Go without hesitation!
A room with accents of Middle Ages for decoration that for the blow is quite original ... But you must love it. The map is equally rustic and oriented meat and sea. The whole thing is copied. The wine map is quite dusty without organic wine damage because the critics were rather elogyy.
We were on a day trip out from Roscoff and found this gem in a guide book so took the off chance and drove over, found a nearby free parking space and went into a lovely old building where the owner greeted us and showed us into a wonderful dining room overlooking a pretty sheltered garden. The restaurant was empty but soon a few more diners arrived. We had probably one of our best ever meals in France and we have been dozens of times. The standard of service is five star. The choice on the set menu for 29 Euros is an absolute bargain. Imagine - a glass of champagne, a carafe of superb red wine, warm bread and excellent butter, still water, an amuse bouche of fresh salty cockles and warm cheese straws, a starter of veal tartare and another of poached eggs in a Bordelaise style sauce followed by 2 main courses of wonderfully cooked skate with buttered potatoes and vegetables followed by creme brulee and a nougatine ice cream and fruit - 68 euros total!!! Incredible. That is around £52.The restaurant is beautiful and in a medieval style and would be wonderful for a romantic dinner for two. The glasses, the tablecloths, the decoration - everything was clean and spotless. The owner was polite and courteous and our courses came at the right pace and not rushed. When we left we said to the owner that the standard was 5 stars and as we walked to the car we just said to ourselves - Perfect!Thank you for a really wonderful lunch - your restaurant is superb! We cant wait to go back!
Juste repas gourmet et gastronomique et scandaleusement copieux....Le service est parfait, super agréable moment, ça faisait longtemps que nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de manger aussi bien!
