Sushi Barcode - Plovdiv

Sushi Barcode is one of the very few places where i let myself eat raw fish! They never disappoint with taste and freshness! And if I may add: Support the local restaurant instead of the famous food chains!

Best Sushi bar in Plovdiv! Perfect service and delicious rolls! It's not my first time here, won't be the last. Definitely recommend the place!

Very nice and cozy place. They offer many variations sushi. The salad are good too. Polite waitress. Open style kitchen. Reccomend it.

It 's not a popular place, but the price and the quality of the sushi, that these girls make is pretty good try it, if you 're bored of Happy Sushi , they sure can compete with it

Plovdiv is a town that has very short selection of sushi establishments. After many failed attempts to find an acceptable sushi spot I came across Sushi Barcode. The atmosphere and staff were very kind and helpful. Beer selection is on the poor side Asahi is definitely not on the menu. Bulgarian dishes are offered as well to satisfy the local needs (it's not sushi only). The sushi I felt the overuse of cream cheese in many of the rolls took away the authentic flavors of what sushi really is. The sticky rice was acceptable, but definitely not fluffy. Roll tension was good many other places make the sushi rolls so tight you can use them as batons. Wasabi and pickled ginger were fresh. It terms of presentation yes, they do get it alright, it terms flavor lots to be learnt. Overall, the sushi is good and the ambiance pleasant. If you really miss sushi and you are in town,go ahead,it will satisfy the sushi crave.
