Not that it was in their control, but ac didn't work. eating was well prepared, but nothing from the ordinary. found the taste of entrees a small bland. we had the whispers. brot was really well served with olive oil and seasoning. the restaurant has seen on phantom gourmet and thought we would try. spaghetti and mussel dinner was well prepared, but thought the taste profile was less than I used to. tagliatelle was well prepared again, but there was no decent taste. rigatoni bolognese was good.
Four of us visited this restaurant on Saturday night. When we approached the restaurant, we saw a big lkw who threw himself out of the moon roof with a huge dog head. it was 90 degrees outside and full sun. I was worried about these poor dogs. we went to the restaurant and sat right in front of the floor to the ceiling window that looked with the 2 dogs directly to the car. they were very big dogs and understandably disturbed. I mentioned it to the waitress and she was very nice and sent over the hostess. the host initially said that we are monitoring this situation and are also affected. I thanked her, but said if it were not corrected within 15 minutes I would call 911. she agreed with me, but I didn't do anything. the police came. I went to the car. the owner who sat on the bar went out on his second drink and a meal and spoke to the police. then the police and the man came back and sat back at the bar. I was pretty upset. he had made a comment to me when he was not repetitive. So nothing was done for these dogs. he closed the moon roof, but let the truck run. by the way, it is illegal to keep a car in empty for more than 5 minutes. we finished our meal quite ordinary eating and before I left, I talked to the hostess and she was not at all nice. they must realize that the entire front of the restaurant window looked on this car with two huge dogs on the front seat. she became rude and quarreling with me. my friend in the FBI agent's retirement also spoke to her and the owner/cook. She said, I know you are from pine hills! They did not take responsibility and did not take care of the dogs and apologize for having to experience this incident in their restaurant. they have actually given great attention to the owner of the dogs, laughing with him and bringing him another drink etc. what is going on? do not visit terra in plymouth.
The high ceilings and brick walls give this place a very nice feeling. the waitress was exceptional with excellent service. eat delicious! we've both been practicing bruschetta. one had broccoli rave, paprika, parmesan and some spiced wobble. the other had fresh ricotta with tapes of snap bases. both were great! we also shared the meatball as an appetizer. a real Italian meatball with bark meat, pork and calf! very similar to what would do nonni! for our main course we had the oven grilled heavy fish with a pistachio vinaigrette and roasted goose and radishes. it was prepared for perfection. a place must put on their lists of south shore restaurants.
Wonderful food. Service was very slow this evening.
