Woody’s Cook House - Pocklington

What a lovely restaurant! The atmosphere is bright and inviting, and the environment is simply beautiful. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I regret not having visited sooner—if only we had! It’s unfortunate that this place will soon be closing; it will be a significant loss for Pocklington. I wish the team all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Excellent service, great food and drinks! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The customer service was both personal and professional, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely return when visiting Pocklington.

I had a nice eating here! started with focaccia brot and beetroot hummus di, which really, really good, then had one of the best chicken caesar salate of my life: not too much dressing, beautiful fresh ingredients, and a good quality chicken breast. finished with the banana cheese cake, which was sad a bit bland for my taste, but the chocolate torte (which had my father) and the lemon curd dessert (which had my mother) were really good, although. really nice funky decoration and ambiente, and attentive (although young and a little inexperienced) staff. we would definitely recommend to eat here!

This is a very relaxing spot to catch up with friends. The food is good, and the prices are reasonable for a dedicated restaurant. We paid £35 per person for three courses, including drinks, which I think is a great deal. Since the meals are freshly prepared, they can accommodate food intolerances and are more than willing to adjust the menu. Our group had dairy, gluten, and vegetarian needs, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff is very polite. Just a heads up, this is not a place to visit if you're in a hurry. The service isn’t slow, but it’s paced as you would expect at a restaurant.

This place has lovely food and very friendly staff. I had the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap and my husband had the fish and chips both were delicious. It's so good that we're going back next week and taking our friends.
