Friendly staff with the opportunity to bring your own food in and free popcorn with a variety of spices and you can not go wrong with enjoying your favorite drinks and enjoy the marine decorated ambience of this fine decor. A nice little local bar that has live music once a weekend. A cozy, warm atmosphere with an outdoor terrace for summer fun.
As part of a bus ride we stayed at 5:30 in the sleepy downtown of Polo on Saturday afternoon. When I left the bus and saw the pub, I was not overly excited. When I went in, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the otherwise simple-looking pub. There's more than the eye meets. In addition to the already decent bar there is an outdoor area with some tables and a fire department store. Despite the 22 people who went unannounced to the bar, the bartenders were all served in time. The drinks were cold, the service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. If I find myself in Polo, I will definitely stop in Chesty P's for a beer.
I was introduced to the establishment a few weeks ago. Had a pleasant time. I was promised new local resident beer and the drunk daughter denied me. I have no more say.
Every Marine would love this place. There is every kind of memorabilia ever made for the marine corps. They even have T-shirts for sale. The evening I was there they had a live band. I loved it.
