Bakalis - Polygyros

They have tables right next to the water, they can touch it practically with their teeth. the service was excellent and the food was wonderful. as they can see on the photos, everything is cooked for perfection and arranged beautifully. I suggest they try hard grilled cheese and cook-octopus it is fried, not grilled.

Great food, perfect view right on the beach next to the waves. We found a table right away on a Saturday night, so that was also great. Prices are very reasonable 50 euros for 2 people , the quality was good, and especially the cheese croquettes were delicious! In the end you also get free dessert, which is also really nice! Service was good, it just took way long in the end to pay, but considering how busy the staff was, it was fine. It is better to sit right at the beach, ifyou want yo have a bit of a calmer space, than upstairs, as people walk by your table etc.

Great dinner on the beach at Bakalis restaurant. The place offers a wide variety of local dishes. The portions are quite big and with fair prices. At the end they have offered us also a dish of different cakes and fruits. Waiters are very nice and friendly. I recommend to come here, it is maybe the most interesting restaurant in town.

The best thing about Bakalis are the tables on the sand, just right next to the sea. The food is good, prices are fair. Service is a bit slow due to the fact that it is extremely busy restaurant, and for this reason I am taking away one star.

We chose this restaurants based on its reviews. Well, it didn't leave to our expectations. The grilled eggplant and feta cheese was good 4 5 stars and the souvlaki was nice with fresh fries 4 5 stars but the grilled octopus was a disappointment 1 5 stars as it was chewy and still tasted and smelled like sea! The desert was on the house. Everything costed 47 euros for two with drinks and mandatory water and bread! All in all, over rated restaurant.
