Ska'l Tap Room - Ponderay

We had a fantastic experience renting skis and boots for my wife. While we waited in the taproom, we even enjoyed a refreshing beer. The setup is great, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we also loved spending time with the shop dog—it was a real gem!

This place boasts an impressive selection of beers and has a skilled bike shop on-site. You can even enjoy discounts if you drive there to grab your first beer before biking. The owners are incredibly friendly, making it a welcoming environment. Whether it's winter or summer, it's an ideal spot to take a break. Plus, it's super convenient if you need maintenance for your skis or bike, as there’s a bar where you can unwind while waiting. It's a fantastic concept!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to visit every year! In the winter, Skal is conveniently located at the base of Schweitzer Mountain on Highway 95, making it an easy stop for a beer after a day on the slopes. This spring, my girlfriend and I enjoyed swinging by while exploring the larger Sandpoint area on our bikes. I can't wait for summer to end so I can enjoy a cold drink there again. The staff and fellow patrons are incredibly friendly; almost everyone greets you with a smile as you walk in. They often have a great selection of large beers on tap that rotate frequently. Situated within the Sandpoint Sports Bike and Skishop, it's an ideal place to embrace the North Idaho lifestyle!

I had a great experience! Loved that I could test, drive the Power Assist Bike and have a Smart Brain Drink to finish the fun! Awesome people; Svein and Lisa lead a welcoming tap room with the usual refreshments along with healthy and great tasting, brain brightening nootropic beverage options. And for a real kick take the electric power assist wheel for a test ride while you are there!
