Ranchers Castle - Ponoka

I was driving up from Edmonton, and was wanting to stop for lunch. I took the detour and stopped in. It was pleasant, the service was good, as was the steak. All around OK

We had never ate here before so decided to give it a try. The chicken and corn chowder was very good. We both had the 9" sirloin which was the smallest steak on the menu. It was cooked a perfect medium and served with a stuffed potato, veggies and garlic toast. The servings were huge but it would be nice if a smaller size steak was offered for seniors and we ladies who don't eat large portions. The service was excellent and we will definately eat here again. They have lots of seating with booths, which I like. If travelling through Ponoka it's well worth a stop.

Have been to this restaurant half a dozen times. Food has always been excellent. A little understaffed from time to time but they work hard at making it work.

We stopped in here for brunch. Very nice place and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable.

We stopped here on a business trip, based on TripAdvisor reviews. It certainly lived up to its reputation. Steak was flavorful, and accompanied by a good variety of vegetables. Excellent Caesar salad. Service was friendly.
