Auberge Des Battures Enr

We spent a few nights in this boutique hotel near la baie during our visit to saguenay fjord. does not expect much of this restaurant, but we were surprised. this fine restaurant served one of the best lamb and steak we had in quebec. the quiet view of the saguenay river was an addition to the great foods. it is worth a visit if in the opposite.

We had a negative experience at this restaurant due to a large noisy table behind us which made it difficult for us to have a conversation. The vegetarian options were not great, but the non-vegetarian dishes were decent.

We had a fantastic dinner before the show La Fabuleuse, taking our time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning views of the fjord from the dining room. Wow!

This was definitely the best meal we had in Saguenay. The service was attentive and prompt. The view from the dining room was stunning, especially during sunset. I started with a delicious blueberry wine aperitif. The appetizers were varied and tasty. I had the scallops and a pate (can't remember the names), but the standout dish was the braised pork. It was incredibly tender and flavorful. The baked pork was a must-try, cooked in whiskey with a hint of maple syrup. I told the staff it was how pork should always taste. Overall, it was an extraordinary dining experience at Auberge.

We had gone to the auberge des 21 first to check it out and had a look at the rooms. We were entirely unimpressed, the deluxe rooms were hardly deluxe. We decided auberge des battures was at least worth a look and we were blown...away. The quality was much higher in every aspect and it was less expensive! The views are stunning wether it be on the bay side or forest side. The service was great and the whirlpool tub was double the size of the other hotel. They even offered a caa discount. After seeing all the options we clearly made the right choice.
