Kings Truck Stop - Port Barre

I love this place absolutely dear. I tried almost the whole menu and I didn't have useful yet! the service is okay. depending on who gets them. there are some who work out their back and some who do the minimum. it's a great family restaurant, I love hearing with my family. they have regular there, and since I am port barre when we go through the doors, they will always see someone they know and have a great time. and if they like the casino scene while they order their to pay a little and try their luck!

Ordered the shrimp po boy. It was good , if you like bread. Hardly no shrimp. I will be finding a new place for shrimp po boy's.

The prices are the best in town! The food is great and so are the employees. It is awesome to see the owners weaving in and out of the mix too! Gotta love a true Mom and Pop business. We will be back--and they said new menu items are coming soon! Can 't wait.

Great breakfast and the poboys are wonderful. Friendly and prompt service. The only drawback I have is that you must go through Port Barre to get there from Baton Rouge. (The best place to get a traffic ticket watch out for cops going slowly in left lane on purpose so you will pass on the right. The perfect set up . I guess not enough people are speeding these days!

We attempted to eat there today. I say attempted because we never got served and left after 20 minutes of waiting.People who came in after us were approached immediately, but we could not even get eye contact from the servers. I will never return.
